BWR Nr. 1 – year 2004 – ECONOMICS
SEL (SOCIETA’ EMILIANA LATERIZI), FLOOR BLOCK SPECIALISTS SEL, a company that has been producing wall and floor blocks since the early 1960’s is located near Modena. The recent plant modernization has increased the factory’s production capacity to about 1,000 tons per day. For the most radical modification, the introduction of wide-exit extrusion, SEL chooses the company TECNOFILIERE. The new extrusion system allowed to switch from single-exit to double-exit operation for floor blocks, while wall products are now extruded with three or four exits.
