LA ESCANDELLA CHOOSES TECNOFILIERE In Agost, twenty kilometres north-west of Alicante in Spain, La Escandella is starting up the world’s largest roof tile factory. The plant will extend over an area of 25,000 square metres and produce annually 60 million pressed roof tiles or alternatively between 80 and 110 million extruded bent tiles. TECNOFILIERE, the only Italian company to have taken part in the project, supplied all the extruder dies for extrusion of bent tiles and pre-shaped two-dimensional bats.
