BWR NR. 2 – YEAR 2018 – INTERVIEW
STABILA GROUP AT THE SERVICE OF TODAY'S BUILDING INDUSTRY
Gruppo Stabila Stabilimenti Italiani Laterizi S.p.A., commonly known as Stabila Group, was officially created in 1998 from the merger of three historic brick manufacturers located in the Veneto region: La Capiterlina of Isola Vicentina (VI), Atesina of Ronco all’Adige (VR) and Zaf, based in the same municipality. Today’s group also includes the company Fornace di Dosson (Dosson di Casier – TV), which joined at a later date.
Michele Destro, Stabila Group’s R&D and Marketing manager, says:"We are improving and expanding our flagship Taurus range, a patented anti-seismic reinforced masonry system first developed several years ago. Given the complex geometry of Taurus, we had to devote special attention to the shaping stage. For this reason, Stabila Group turned to Tecnofiliere, a longstanding commercial partner and a specialist in the design and construction of extrusion equipment. Specifically, Tecnofiliere supplied CF2 Evolution 3 exits dies for the products 227×350 mm and 337×350 mm, whose geometries include holes to accommodate the reinforcement bars during installation.
