TECNOFILIERE REMEMBERS ANTONIO ZANZI

 

Antonio Zanzi, former sales manager of the brick manufacturer Gral (Ravennate Laterizi Group, formed in Alfonsine, Ravenna in 2008 following a merger between Unieco and IBL), died on 25 July at the age of 67.

His career in the heavy clay sector began in the 1970s at Laterizi Ravennate, then in 1987 he was appointed manager of the Laterizi Alan Metauro production unit, then part of the Edilfornaciai Group and known in particular for the excellence of its Alveolater loadbearing masonry products. In 1997 he was named sales manager of the two IBL factories in Bentivoglio (BO) and Cotignola (RA), which specialised in the production of extruded facing bricks, common bricks for plastering, and handmade type facing bricks.
