TECNOFILIERE IN STAFFORDSHIRE
Tecnofiliere has created an extrusion group for a furnace which is part of a leading Group in the construction material sector based in Staffordshire, an English county in the West Midlands. The extrusion group consists of a 400 mm diameter opening with differential conicity and a CPF0 die with one outlet, for the production of wall blocks of 440×102 mm size.
As it is commonly used in these areas, the Stiff Extrusion method has been used, namely, the extrusion of materials using low humidity clays (between 13-16%): the so-called halfdamp or half-dry body.
