SANDWICH TYPE CORE CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
To meet the needs of customers using highly abrasive clays, Tecnofiliere recently proposed a sandwich type core construction system.
This solution allows for a cheaper product without sacrificing the high wear resistance typical of the type of sintered materials used. Only the central 10 mm section of the core consists of hard metal (the most expensive part of this type of application). The part below is made from sintered alumina, a much less expensive material.
