BRIQUETERIE TIDJELABINE RIDES THE RECOVERY IN ALGERIA
Yacef Hamid, CEO of Briqueterie Tidjelabine, a well-known brick manufacturer which has been supplying the Algerian construction sector since 2017, says: «: Briqueterie Tidjelabine was founded in 2014 in the eponymous municipality in the province of Boumerdes. The factory was built on a 15,000 square metre site and began operating in 2017 with a production capacity of 280,000 tonnes of product per year, equivalent to 70 million bricks.
We have made continuous improvements and replaced some of the items of equipment used in the raw material mixing, forming and extrusion processes. We have also adopted a system for recovering wet waste. Our main supplier in the field of extrusion technology is Tecnofiliere, which provides us with high-quality, high-precision equipment and an excellent after-sales service. The dies are all TFE-J EVO models and for the production of B8 and B12 blocks have been equipped with cores and liners made of Tecnocarbide®. With its wear resistance and hardness of 2000 HV, this material allows for long-term production without significant changes in the weight and size of the bricks, resulting in higher quality and raw material savings».
