DESIGNER ROOF TILES AND SUNSCREENS, COMBINING AESTHETICS AND FUNCTIONALITY
Ceipo is a company based in the province of Siena that has been operating in the field of fired clay products for more than 40 years, combining the unique characteristics of Tuscan clay with Italian design and technology and a large dose of creativity. The company exports its products to more than 30 countries around the world and is renowned for its high capacity for customisation and ability to meet even the most challenging and original requests.
Chairman Silvano Cei says: “from 2000 onwards architects and designers rediscovered sunscreens, leading to a surge in demand. This is when we began developing porcelain stoneware products due to their greater strength and durability compared to terracotta. We began collaborating with leading architectural firms and introduced new fully customised three-dimensional ceramic elements for façade cladding. Given the breadth of our product range, we have had to install many different types of systems. Our suppliers are all Italian, like Tecnofiliere for the extrusion equipment. We see them as nothing short of partners. With Tecnofiliere in particular, we have established a relationship of cooperation and mutual trust that allows us to develop products extremely rapidly».
