NEW TFI SPECIAL TYPE DIE WITH A LINER MADE OF TECNOCARBIDE
Tecnofiliere recently designed and built a new extrusion unit for a leading Colombian brick producer consisting of a pressure head plus extruder die complete with lubrication system for the single-exit production of 100×200 mm “Ladrillo Lleno Adoquin” solid floor bricks.
For this kind of product the customer uses a body with a low moisture content, resulting in high material wear.
Tecnofiliere used its consolidated experience to develop a dedicated extrusion unit consisting of an extruder die designed and built for operation at very high extrusion pressures. A special lubrication system introduces lubricant liquid into the die to minimise friction during extrusion, thereby avoiding deterioration of the materials, loss of efficiency and wastage of energy.
